We can not go back and correct our past lives. Once something happens it happens. In a conflict the victor get to write history. This is one reason that I always regard historical documents with a certain amount of trepidation. My wife, Kim and I have had some mind-blowing (if you were born during the 50's, 60's or 70's you will understand this term) experiences in our 32 year marriage. When we got married all was great for twenty years; no one died, there were a few marriages, a few births. All was good.
Then the decade starting with 2000 unleashed heartache by the boat load. Our son, Darrell Griffin, Jr. was killed by a sniper in Baghdad, Kim's dad, aunt, and two uncles died with a year of each other. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor on my pituitary gland, I was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) and my dad died. Life pretty much sucked for a number of years. If it hand not been for our faith in God and Jesus. Those PC driven people are politely asked to not come back from this website because it will only be frustrating to you and to me when I have to delete your close-minded, negative posts.
We will be publishing www.mylifebackwards.com posts each week. I will start with a post this week. Here are some basic facts that will help you understand the posts:
I am a white, middle class, baby boomer (or elderly, depending on who you talk to) male. I am not buying into the whole politically correct thing, because it is crap, as it goes contrary to our constitutional rights of free speech. Look for future posts starting next week.
Just last week Kim Griffin and Darrell Griffin (me), Co-CEO's of Quick Easy Reads attended Craig Duswalt's Rockstar Marketing Bootcamp at the LAX Westin. It is a mastermind group of about 150 members and there were about 400 attendees at the Bootcamp.
